RULES AND REGS
Okay so let us set some ground rules before we start.
Membership Fee £20.00 to join.
Members involved in a production will be asked to pay a £5.00 rehearsal fee to help pay for rehearsal rooms, costumes etc. This will include back stage crew, directors, choreographers and PA’s etc.
All scripts must be purchased by members who are involved in each production, but of course these become yours and you may do with them as you wish, this does not apply where we have to hire scripts for musicals from a rights company where there will be a nominal rental fee to pay and scripts and music must not be damaged.
Unless invited to take part in a specific production for reasons of lack of cast, anyone who wishes to perform in a production will be expected to audition for that production. This may take the form of a formal audition or a play reading, this will be decided by each Director on a production to production basis.
Do's.....
Members are asked to always be polite, professional, helpful and inclusive to each other.
Arrive on time ready to start.
Be attentive.
Make notes.
Make all newcomers welcome.
If you have any issue with anything with the group please speak to a committee member, we are here to help.
Dont's......
The drinking of alchohol and the smoking or taking of drugs has no place in the rehearsal room or theatre space. (Our Liability insurance will not cover any harm or damage caused by either to cast or audience members.)
If you are having difficulties with a part or finding things too overwhelming, please don't sit on it and worry, let us know straight away so we can help.
Finally as a member of the company, if you are not in a production, we would very much like you to be involved in the other aspects of the production.
